Some herbs and spices that may help boost your brain health are probably already in your cabinet or refrigerator. 1. Sage

Try including sage in tomato sauce, white bean soup, roasted chicken, turkey, butternut squash, and other dishes. Sage is also available as tea.

2. Turmeric

Ayurveda has historically employed spice turmeric. It contains the chemical curcumin, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and may improve general health and brain function.

7. Lemon Balm

Lemon balm, a herb widely brewed into a tea and used to treat insomnia and anxiety, may enhance cognitive function.

For four months, patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease took a placebo or a lemon balm extract. Those who received lemon balm showed a considerably more significant improvement in cognitive function after the research.
